Our Story

Every business has a beginning, and Stolt Excavating started with the Stolt Family.   Merle Stolt started the company in 1976.  He worked hard building a reputation on honesty and hard work.  Merle company grew throughout the years and he taught the business to his son, Dan.  Dan Stolt took over the operations in 1986.  Dan delivered the great customer service that his father started and grew the services offered over the years.  In 2016, Dan turned over the keys to the company to Joe Rubenzer.  Joe shares the same vision and passion for the company as the Stolt's and the company still carries the same name.
